Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced a new and important housing scheme called Apni Zameen Apna Ghar (Your Land, Your Home). This is a major step forward in her goal of providing “Housing for All” in the province. The main purpose of this program is to help poor and homeless families by giving them free land so they can build a home of their own.
Under this scheme, eligible people will receive a free 3-marla residential plot. This land will be provided to those who do not already own any property and who are struggling to afford a house. The program is designed especially for low-income individuals and families who dream of having their own home but cannot afford one.
The Apni Zameen Apna Ghar initiative is being carried out by the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA). It is supervised by the Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering Department (HUD&PHED) of Punjab. These organizations are responsible for making sure the plots are given to the right people and that everything is done in a fair and transparent way.
The Apni Zameen Apna Ghar program is a bold and positive step by the Punjab government to help those who need it the most. With this scheme, thousands of poor and homeless families will finally have a chance to live in their own homes. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of “Housing for All” is slowly becoming a reality through such people-friendly programs.
If you or someone you know qualifies for this scheme, don’t miss the chance to apply and build a better future.
