Eid-ul-Adha is the occasion when Muslims around the world commemorate the great sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim, who was ready to sacrifice his son in order to gain the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Traditionally, Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated all over the world with great enthusiasm on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah. They sacrifice goats and distribute their meat among relatives, friends, neighbors and deserving people.

After the sighting of moon the announcement of Eid holidays from cabinet members for three days but after sending summary to Prime minister Shehbaz sharif for Eid holidays the Prime Minister approved the summary of five days holidays for Eid Ul Azha. According to Prime Minister Secretariat, the Prime Minister approved Eid Ul Adha holidays from 8 July to 12 July 2022.
